Outpatient Services Department
The Outpatient Services Department (OSD) is a medical clinic where non-urgent medical care is provided to persons with developmental disabilities who are currently residing in the community. The clinic provides services under the umbrella of the General Acute Care Hospital (GACH) at Agnews, and is located within the Central Medical Services Department on the first floor of the Rapaport Building, Residence 81. There is a wide range of services available on an outpatient basis, which includes specialty medical clinics, diagnostic procedures, clinical laboratory and rehabilitative services. The OSD does not provide emergency medical services or surgical procedures that require general anesthesia. The mission of the OSD is to provide a high quality of health care to persons with developmental disabilities who are unable to access services within the community, and/or are unable to purchase these services from a qualified provider. All persons served by a regional center within the Sate of California are eligible for services including those within the local regions of San Andreas, East by and Golden Gate Regional Center.
