Consumer comments welcome on the Proposed Closure of Lanterman Developmental Center

The Department of Developmental Services (DDS) is writing a plan to close Lanterman Developmental Center. This plan must be given to the Legislature by April 1, 2010. DDS is asking for input from consumers living in the Los Angeles area regarding the proposed closure of Lanterman Developmental Center. If you receive services from a regional center in the Los Angeles area and have input for DDS regarding the closure, please take time to view this PowerPoint and answer the questions. We need to have your input by March 17, 2010, in order to put it in the plan for the Legislature.
