Early Start State Performance Materials
Early Start has a variety of materials and products to support a statewide, comprehensive and coordinated system of child find, public awareness and outreach. Outreach materials increase appropriate referrals, increase the community's knowledge and understanding of early intervention services, and support families' role in early intervention.
Early Start Part C Annual Performance Report
This report provides the Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP) with a progress report of the State's Early Start Program as measured against the established targets for each of the indicators listed in its State Performance Plan (SPP).

Office of Special Education Programs Determination on the Early Start Annual Performance Report
After reviewing the Early Start Annual Performance Report (2008) submitted on February 1, 2010, the Federal Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP) made a performance determination for Early Start. The letter from OSEP contains California's performance determination.

Specific Part C Assurance for Federal Fiscal Year 2010
The Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP) has reviewed California’s Federal Fiscal Year (FFY) 2010 grant application under Part C of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA Part C) and has identified issues requiring additional action in order to make the application fully consistent with IDEA Part C requirements.
Early Start Part C State Performance Plan
The Individuals with Disabilities Education Improvement Act (IDEA) of 2004 requires states to have a State Performance Plan (SPP) for implementing the requirements and intent of the IDEA, Part C.
