The Legislature has requested that, in addition to reporting on progress in implementing the Lanterman Developmental Center closure plan, the Department of Developmental Services also develop completion dates for significant milestones related to implementation of the plan. The Department is extremely grateful to those of you who provided much valuable written or verbal input during the months of August and September for the development of draft milestones.
We are now asking interested parties to review the attached draft document and provide any further comments or suggestions you have for the Department's consideration prior to submission of the final milestones document to the Legislature.
