Sonoma Valley Footrace & Festival

A 5K run/walk or an advanced 10K run, both winding through the scenic grounds of Sonoma Developmental Center. The 10K for a challenging run through stunning scenery, both on- and off-road. Pass lakes and run through woods in the hills above Sonoma.
For a less challenging run or walk, the 5K course which also winds through the beautiful grounds of the center on mostly level pavement. Both races start at 9:00 a.m. Advance registration fees are $25 for adults and $15 for children 12 and under; register online at www.active.com. On race day, registration is $30 for adults and $20 for children.

2011 Results Awards were presented to the top runners in each category, and all runners received a T-shirt. Adult participants also received a commemorative glass and tickets for beer and wine tasting at the Festival.
The Festival is open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., and features some of the county's best wine and beer and is undoubtedly the most economical tasting event in Sonoma! The family-friendly Festival also features a car show, food vendors, carnival games and attractions, a kids' fun run, and live music.
