Admininstrative Services at Sonoma Developmental Center
The primary goal of the Administrative Services Department is to provide administrative supports to the clinical functions of the facility.
Description of Structure and Staff:
The activities of Administrative Services vary widely because its roles span vast areas of responsibility, including providing goods and services to our consumers and staff, as well as maintaining the physical plant. The areas within Administrative Services include Nutrition Services, Personnel, Transportation Services, Information Systems, Plant Operations, Equal Employment Opportunities, the Staff Library, Impressions (the facility clothing store), Health and Safety, Energy Resources, and the Motor Pool. The functions are to provide a safe, secure, comfortable and discrimination-free environment; to provide nutritious meals, based on assessment and individual choice; to provide a variety of seasonal clothing, based on consumer preferences; to provide fiscal services to clients and staff that meet regulatory requirements; prevention of injuries and accidents; personnel services; computer services; janitorial service; laundry service; transportation services; mail delivery; telecommunications; property control; protective services; maintenance of the physical plant; and investigation of complaints.
