Wellness Mental Health Activities
The Department of Developmental Services (DDS) is sponsoring regional center projects to enhance the array of services available to consumers with developmental disabilities and mental health issues. Innovative residential programs and collaborative county mental health services are encouraged statewide.
The Department of Mental Health (DMH), through the Mental Health Services Act (MHSA), is developing new and innovative programs for all Californians with mental illness. Information on the MHSA and their new programs is available at www.dmh.ca.gov.
The California Mental Health Planning Council is responsible for the mental health service delivery system oversight and accountability. Their home page is located on the DMH website.
