August 3, 2017 Respite Repeal Letter (08/16/17)
Program directive to regional centers regarding the repeal of the respite restrictions per Welfare and Institutions Code section 4686.5.

Special Interest - Arts in the Community (08/01/17)
Celebrating the Art & Advocacy installation at the CA Museum were CHHS Secretary Diana Dooley, artist Gabby Ledesma, DDS Director Nancy Bargmann, and Alta CA Regional Center Executive Director Phil Bonnet. The opening night reception was hosted by the California Disability-Senior Community Action Network, Choices Person Centered Services with the California Person Centered Advocacy Partnership, Claraty Arts of Santa Cruz, and the Art of Autism. The exhibit features many artists with developmental disabilities from around the state and will run until September 17th at the California Museum, 1020 O Street, Sacramento. Revised Effective Date for Rate Increase (06/12/17)
On February 13, 2017, the Sacramento County Superior Court ruled the Department must implement the 5.82 percent rate increase for in-home respite agency, personal assistance and supported living services, authorized in Welfare and Institutions Code sections 4691.6(h) and 4691.9(c), effective October 13, 2015.
