Sonoma Developmental Center Governor's Advisory Board

The Sonoma Developmental Center (SDC) Governor's Advisory Board is comprised of eight California Citizens appointed by the Governor to visit and provide advice with respect to the conduct of the center. The Board makes a written report on its activities, findings and recommendations to the State Department of Developmental Services to be transmitted to each regular session of the Legislature. The Board is comprised of family members, professionals in the field of developmental disabilities who are not employees of the state developmental center system, and representatives of the general public. The current members are: Selina Glater- Chairperson, David Hoshiwara- Vice Chairperson, Carin Lawrence, Linda Lucas, George Ellman, Phil Nguyen, Barbara Turner and Joe Martinez to the Sonoma Developmental Center Advisory Board.
