COVID-19 Vaccines

Effective April 15, 2021, everyone age 16 and older is eligible to receive a COVID-19 vaccine. Eligibility for the vaccine does not guarantee you an actual vaccination. Please note: Effective April 13, 2021, the federal government and California paused use of the Johnson & Johnson (J&J, Janssen) vaccine. Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna vaccines remain available.

Letters from DDS Clarifying COVID-19 Vaccination Eligibility for Phase 1A

These letters no longer are needed to establish eligibility for vaccination. Effective April 1, 2021, everyone age 50 and older are eligible. Effective April 15, 2021, everyone age 16 and older is eligible. Eligibility for the vaccine does not guarantee you an actual vaccination.
