Attendees can:
- Get support navigating the State of California’s hiring process
- Meet staff from different areas of the Department
- If you’re a Californian with IDD, Workforce Diversity Specialist Kathryn Jue will partner with you in identifying career opportunities within the Department. If you are a Californian with an intellectual or developmental disability interested in working for the Department, you also can request a virtual meeting with Kathryn Jue, to learn about available opportunities.
- Connect with representatives from the Department of Rehabilitation to learn about the State’s Limited Examination and Appointment Program (LEAP) certification process

On-Site Interviews
There are a limited number of on-site interview spots available. To be considered, you must complete the required exam and state application BEFORE the event, for these positions:
- Psychiatric Technicians (all levels)
- Psychiatric Technician Assistants (Certified Nursing Assistants qualify for this position, too)
- Behavior Specialists
