Jonathan Padilla is the new Executive Director at Redwood Coast Regional Center (RCRC), bringing leadership experience and a deep commitment to the community he serves.
Jonathan served as Interim Executive Director, guiding the organization during a period of transition after the retirement of Dr. Kimberly Smalley in 2025.
Jonathan began his career in the regional center system in 2012 at North Bay Regional Center, working directly with families to connect them to services and support. Over time, he moved into leadership roles overseeing programs and service teams. He joined RCRC in 2021, where he led client services.
He believes leaders should serve their teams and make decisions based on clear values that respect the people they support.
“I am honored to work alongside each of you in a profession and organization that carries forward a vision of seeing the humanness in each person and envisioning a time when everyone is respected, supported, honored and recognized for their diverse contributions and valued services,” said Jonathan.
The Department looks forward to partnering with Jonathan in supporting people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families supported by Redwood Coast Regional Center.
