We are launching a new series to feature some of our dedicated employees. Each month we will introduce a department employee and learn about what they do, what inspires them, and how their work supports the community.
At the Department, we know none of our work can be done alone. We work together with you — individuals, families, regional centers, service providers, and community partners — toward a shared vision: improving outcomes for Californians with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

First Up? Meet Bilingual Analyst Jasmine!
Jasmine Suo supports our Spanish-speaking community by making information about services clear and accessible. She also supports community engagement and important Department efforts, including the year-long process that led to California’s Master Plan for Developmental Services.
“Getting to meet so many people with developmental disabilities and parents and committee members working to put this project through was just an amazing experience, and it was an honor for me to be able to help in those meetings,” said Jasmine.
