Earlier this year, the Republican majority in Congress and President Trump enacted H.R. 1 (the One Big Beautiful Bill Act or OBBBA). CalHHS leaders share the latest efforts to address the bill’s impacts on safety-net programs in California.

The session also provides an update on the state’s application for the Rural Health Transformation Program and the opportunity to strengthen health care access, quality and outcomes in rural communities through innovative system transformation.
