Please join us in congratulating Matthew Bahr and Srbui Ovsepyan on their recent appointments as Executive Directors of Central Valley Regional Center (CVRC) and Frank D. Lanterman Regional Center, respectively.

Matthew Bahr has supported individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, their families, and service providers in California’s regional center system since 2007.  That work has included time at Central Valley Regional Center as consultant and General Counsel.  He brings a deep commitment to person-centered services and inclusive communities.  “My goal is to listen, learn, and lead in partnership with you,” said Matthew in a message to CVRC staff and families.

At Frank D. Lanterman Regional Center, Srbui Ovsepyan brings more than 20 years of experience.  She has served in roles ranging from Service Coordinator to Associate Executive Director.  She has a deep understanding of the Center’s operations, budget challenges, and the needs of the people it serves.

“This internal promotion reflects not only Srbui’s exceptional qualifications but also our deep confidence in her vision, leadership, and longstanding dedication to the Center and the community we serve,” said Louis Mitchell, Lanterman’s Board President.

The Department looks forward to working with both leaders as they begin this new chapter in service to their communities.
