The Master Plan for Developmental Services wants to hear about the services you want from California’s 21 Regional Centers.  Your ideas will help set goals and plans to improve these services for the future.  What do you think would make California’s services better for everyone?  Join the Future of Developmental Services photo campaign!  Here are the steps:

  1. Get the Campaign Sheet.  You can print one here or use a blank sheet of paper.
  2. Get a dark marker or pen to write with.
  3. Write or ask someone to help you to write one thing on the paper that you would like to see happen for Developmental Services in California.  What does the future of developmental services look like to you?
  4. Ask someone to take your photo.  Make sure to hold up the sheet with your answer on it.  You can also take a selfie or record a short, 20-second video of you saying what’s on the paper.
  5. Review and sign the DDS photo and video Consent Agreement (Español).  This agreement gives DDS permission to use your photo and name online.
  6. Email your photo or video to pio@dds.ca.gov or upload them both to the campaign webpage.

Where will you see this campaign?  DDS will share your photo on its website, the Master Plan website, Facebook, Instagram and X.  You can also find the photos with the hashtag: #FutureofCalDDServices and #FuturodeLosServiciosCalDD

We can help you participate in this campaign!  Email us at: pio@dds.ca.gov
