Respite Care Rate Increase (Emergency Proposed Regulations)

Description

The Department of Developmental Services (Department) proposes to amend regulations to increase the maximum rates of reimbursement for respite care under Service Codes 864 & 869.

History

The Department filed the Emergency Rulemaking package with the Office of Administrative Law (OAL) on August 19, 2002. OAL approved the proposed emergency regulations on August 29, 2002.

The Department filed with OAL its Notice of Proposed Rulemaking on September 24, 2002. The Notice of Proposed Rulemaking was published in the California Regulatory Notice Register on October 4, 2002. The 45-day comment period began with publication of the Notice of Proposed Rulemaking on October 4, 2002. The 45-day comment period will end on November 19, 2002.

Status

The regulation is effective June 5, 2003.
