The Department’s Service and Workforce Development Branch invites service providers, family members, community members, and Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to a webinar about the Direct Support Professional University (DSPU).

DSPU is a new training program for DSPs. It is a voluntary program that helps DSPs build skills and earn certification. The training has three tiers and focuses on person centered support, cultural understanding, and improving outcomes for people with developmental disabilities.

In this webinar, we will also introduce our learning platform: Employee Development, Growth, and Education (EDGE). EDGE is the online system where DSPs can take their training. We will explain what EDGE is and how to use it.

Please register for a session on May 4 or May 5. The same presentation will be given on both dates.

Spanish, Tagalog, and ASL interpretation will be provided.
