July Disability Pride Month, a time to celebrate disability identity, community and belonging.
People with disabilities are the largest and most diverse minority, representing all abilities, ages, races, ethnicities, languages, religions and socio-economic backgrounds. The world works better with us!
On Wednesday, July 29, join the State Council on Developmental Disabilities (SCDD), the Self Advocacy Advisory Committee (SAAC), and the Statewide Self-Advocacy Network (SSAN) for Proud to be Me, a virtual conversation where a panel of self-advocates will share why they celebrate Disability Pride.
