Calling all service providers taking part in the Direct Support Professionals (DSP) Internship Program!
We want to highlight the impact the program has had for you. Your story can help other providers understand the value of participating and show the real benefits to organizations, interns, and the people you support.
Share your experience with the program in a short video reel, in whatever style feels natural for you.
Here are some ideas to guide you, if you choose to participate:

Record a brief (about 30 seconds) message for a social media style clip.

Include anyone from your organization who supported DSP interns or saw the impact firsthand.

Share approved photos or video clips of activities, interactions, and moments that matter.

Record in any setting that reflects your environment, your office, or community.

Talk about what stood out to you: success stories, benefits to your organization, lessons learned, or words of encouragement for others.

Once your video is ready, you can:

Send it to us directly for feedback, or

Post it to your social media account and tag @caldds_ on Instagram, or the California Department of Developmental Services on Facebook
We can provide simple guidelines or suggested hashtags if that’s helpful, but please use only what feels right for you.
If you don’t have time to make a video, we still welcome your comments, likes, and engagement on our social media posts about the program.
