If you are a service provider, please make sure your information in the Provider Directory is accurate. Keeping information current helps make sure you continue to receive important messages and can be contacted when needed. The Provider Directory increasingly will be used to communicate with service providers. It also will be used to give you Quality Incentive Program (QIP) information and the QIP surveys you need to complete to earn the 10 percent quality incentive rate component for next year—see the other article in this newsletter for more information about that!
Also, improvements are being made to the Provider Directory to make it more accessible. We’re adding multilingual features so service providers can access information in the language that works best for them. As part of this work, we’ve started translating Provider Directory materials into multiple languages. This includes the Applicant Service Provider Guide. Future updates also will let the public see basic information of many providers. This will make it easier for Californians to find your services and supports.
