October 29-30, 2026 – The 5th Annual California Native American Symposium on Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities will be held at Pala Casino Spa Resort in Pala, CA. Hosted in partnership with San Diego Regional Center, the Pala Band of Mission Indians, and Acorns to Oak Trees, the event will bring together Tribal representatives, regional centers, families, and community partners to strengthen culturally responsive services and access for California Native American communities. Opening remarks will include CalHHS Secretary Christina Snider-Ashtari and DDS Director Pete Cervinka.
