The Department of Developmental Services hosted two trainings to introduce the new standardized statewide Individual Program Plan (IPP) and resources.

These community trainings are for individuals and families served by a regional center, advocacy and community-based organizations, regional centers, and any other interested parties.

These trainings will cover:

  • Why we have a new IPP and the person-centered approach.
  • What the new IPP format includes.
  • The plan and timeline for implementing the new IPP at all regional centers.
  • New guides for self-advocates and families to prepare for their IPP in the new format.
