The Department frequently distributes guidance and instructions on policy issues to regional centers (RC). All directives, program guidelines, guidance documents, and correspondence are shared here.

• Directives are instructions RCs must follow.
• Program Guidelines are rules RCs must follow for specific programs.
• Guidance documents share details on items RCs are encouraged to do or approaches to consider, but are not mandated.
• Correspondence documents are how the Department shares helpful information with the RCs.
