The Department has extended the Quality Incentive Program (QIP) to service providers for the following employment measures and incentive payments:
- Employment Access measures are designed to increase participation in Competitive Integrated Employment (CIE) for all adults who want to work. Service providers are incentivized for successfully helping individuals to move from work activity programs into CIE, and placements with internships that lead to CIE.
- Employment Capacity measures are designed to increase the number of service provider employees who are certified as trained employment specialists. Certification is achieved through the Association of Community Rehabilitation Educators (ACRE), Basic Employment Services, ACRE Basic Customized Employment Services, or as Certified Employment Support Professionals. The program offers incentives to providers who obtain these certifications.
The Quality Incentive Program is part of rate reform. Learn more and sign up on the Department’s website for rate reform updates.
