The Department continues to release directives ahead of rate reform adjustments effective January 2025. Rate reform in California’s developmental services system means changing the way the State pays for services. The directives provide regional centers and service providers with guidance and steps to prepare for and make changes. The goal for all department directives is to make sure services are consistent and meet specific standards across the State. They might cover a range of topics, including things like provider requirements, service changes, or funding adjustments.
