Children’s Community Crisis Homes

Description

The Department proposes to amend California Code of Regulations (CCR), Title 17, sections 59000, 59002, 59006, 59007, 59008, 59009, 59010, 59012, 59022, 59050, and 59072, and adopt new articles 5.5 and 6.5 and new sections 59009.5, 59010.1, 59010.2, 59010.3, 59010.4, and 59010.5, on an emergency basis to address an emergency and is necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health and safety, or general welfare for purposes of Sections 11346.1 and 11349.6 of the Government Code. The proposed regulations will enable consumers eligible to reside in Children’s Community Crisis Homes to avoid placement in more restrictive settings.
